The Frederiksted Mall

The Frederiksted Mall (the “Mall”) was acquired in an effort to revitalize the downtown Frederiksted area on the island of St. Croix, by providing affordable rental opportunities to small business owners. The Virgin Islands Public Finance Authority leases the Mall pursuant to a lease agreement with a private landowner. Spaces at the Mall are sublet primarily to various small business entities in Frederiksted, and the Department of Tourism.

The Mall is a two-story commercial building consisting of 12,176 square feet of rental space on 10,220 square feet of land, sited on adjoining parcels at No. 9 Strand Street and No. 63 King Street. It is located just south of the Ann E. Abramson Pier. The Mall is zoned B-1, Business – Central Business District which is devoted primarily to commercial enterprises serving visitors and tourist. There are a total of twenty-five rental spaces at the Mall, to include eighteen (18) enclosed spaces and seven (7) open-air (Kiosk) spaces.
